Workshop
iRide is first and foremost a workshop. We sell bikes, parts and accessories but the core of our business is service and repair work. We specialise in the technical stuff and our über-nerd mechanics love working on hydraulic brakes, building wheels and servicing forks.
We want to get your bike running smoothly and keep it that way. Repair work conducted by our expert mechanics is charged at $80 per hour.
General Service - $75
- Wheels trued
- Gears and brakes tuned
- Hubs and bottom bracket checked
- Lube all moving parts and tighten all fastenings.
- Includes a full safety check and assessment.
Overhaul - $150
- Includes the General Service
- Service hubs.
- Service bottom bracket.
- Service headset.
- Replace all cable inners/outers at no extra charge
Additional work carried out during a service is billed at $40 per hour. (Half the regular rate)
Wheel Building
Our experienced wheel builders are happy to take the extra time to build your wheels the way you want them.
- $55 per wheel
*$5 surcharges apply for supplying own hubs or using second hand rims.
Hydraulic Brakes
Are your brakes working 100%?
If you can't throw yourself over the bars with just one finger the answer is probably no! Our workshop is equipped to work on most major brands and our experienced mechanics can make sure you're getting the most out of them.
Suspension Fork Servicing
Single crown service, $60
Triple clamp, $100
Fork seals from most brands cost $40.
Suspension Shock Servicing
All rear shocks are returned to the wholesaler for servicing. We charge $30 to cover removal, freight and re-installation.
The servicing carried out by the wholesaler will be billed separately. We don't mark up the wholesaler's bill and you're more than welcome to view the invoice and service notes.
